Mr President

Almost fifty years ago, John F Kennedy was elected on a platform based on the famous “ask yourself what you can do for your country and not what the country can do for you”. Today, our new president has been elected on the demagogic platform of “ask the government what you are entitled to”. President Obama has made it clear that higher education and health care are universal rights, that paying for your mortgage mistakes is a given and that”wealth” (still unquantified) must be spread out.

That is all good for the majority of free loaders that vote but don’t pay taxes. But what has happened to rewarding hard work, personal and financial responsibility, merit and common sense, all the things that make the American dream he vows to reclaim. The dream is live and well. As a successful legal immigrant I am a living proof of it, and as the first African American Columbia and Harvard educated president, Mr Obama is another one.

Endorsements That Don’t Really Matter to Liberals

After Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama on Meet the Press (10/19/08) the liberal media heralded the importance of the endorsement. Andrea Mitchell of NBC, hyped it as “a very powerful political statement.” While liberals fawn over Obama, credible columnist like Stanley Kurtz, Thomas Sowell, Amanda Carpenter, Tony Blankley and many more have reported on Obama’s unsavory alliances, poor judgment, dishonesty and Marxist policies.

In “Dreams From My Father” Obama stated, “I chose my friends carefully.” Interestingly enough Jack Cashill has made a convincing case that William Ayers was the “ghost writer” of the book. But the question that begs to be answered is why isn’t the liberal media mentioning “all” the “friends” Obama has chosen carefully? Here are some they fail to mention. [Read more…]

Barack Who?

We have learned more about Sarah Pailin in a couple of weeks than about Obama in years and despite the supposed scrutiny typical of such a high profile campaign, I did not get all the answers I wanted and I am still wondering who is Senator Obama. Sure, I could use his own biographies to figure out what he is made of, but talk about possible bias and re-written history! He is a politician and I have to assume that as a good and successful politician, he is good at distorting reality and truth to fit his needs.

Also, the mainstream media is obviously so much in love with the phenomenon that investigative journalism has been turned into a thing of the past, replaced by shameless adulation and promotion of the new “Messiah”. [Read more…]

Losing Freedom – The Liberal Agenda

“It is seldom that liberty of any kind is lost all at once.” Philosopher David Hume

While watching the Vice Presidential debates last Thursday night I realized just how dangerous an Obama-Biden ticket is to a free America. It was bad enough that Sen. Biden started by demonstrating the liberal propensity to lie with his rewriting history in order to legitimize President Clinton’s intervention in the Balkan Civil War by falsely claiming genocide. And never mind the more than a dozen substantiated lies about global warming, the economy, tax increases, and his, Obama’s and McCain’s positions and voting record. It was his admission of the liberal view of the judiciary that should scare the hell out of any freedom loving American. Sen. Biden, like all liberal politicians, “hope” it won”t by relying on those who are incapable of critical thinking, uniformed, misinformed or just plain ignorant. [Read more…]

Obamedia?

Just plain incredible, total Obamanipulation!.

Isn’t it disturbing to see how pro-OBObama the media outlets are? Everything good is about the audacious guy full of hope and everything negative is about the McCain camp.

When Obama made his speech in Berlin or gathered tens of thousands of supporters in a stadium, it was unique, magical, blah blah. Pailin just did the same with at least 60 thousand people in Florida and it is not newsworthy. Her inauguration speech attracted more viewers than Obama’s but it was not newsworthy. “Sarah who” stole the Obama’s convention thunder and poll rebound but it was not newsworthy. She got more votes as a Gov than Biden as a presidential pretender but it is not newsworthy. [Read more…]

Just Speeches, Just Lies and Panic

“You Can Put Lipstick on a Socialist, But He’s Still a Socialist” Doug Giles

In the words of the new messiah the republicans offer “just words, just speeches”. He should know. What has Obama done? What has he accomplished? Just an insignificant education and law practice, mediocre governmental experience and choosing is associates very poorly.

The result is a panic his candidacy. Simple minded liberal are having a total meltdown and it’s hilarious. For example, during a segment on Hannity & Combs (09/08/08) Alan was interviewing Chuck Norris and whined when he claimed the economy under President Bush was bad and repeated the liberal myth that under Clinton a good economy, no debt and a surplus. Too bad the facts don”t support the fool. The public debt in 1993 was $4.4 trillion and when Clinton left office in 2001 it was $5.8 trillion. That is a 1.4 trillion dollar increase in debt liberals ignore. Liberals ignore that during the eight years of Clinton the economy averaged a mediocre 2.06% growth in GDP. The overheating of the stock market gave gullible liberals the illusion things were robust until the dot.com crash and a “real” recession from 1999-2001. But what does facts have to do with it? Also there was no surplus, just fuzzy liberal math and wishful thinking.

Combs then attacked Sarah Palin claiming that she is out of touch with a majority of American when who are pro-abortion. Wrong again. Even during the 1970’s the split between woman for pro-life and pro-abortion was as about 50%. There was no real majority supporting either side.

Then Combs regurgitated the democrat talking point that Republicans were trying to scare Americans by falsely saying terrorist were supporting B. Hussein Obama. Once again the facts prove poor Combs is just a simple-minded fool. On May 13, 2008, Al-Jazeera reported Palestinians in Gaza engaging in phone banking activities for Obama and calling American voters at random asking them to vote for Obama. Ahmed Yousef, political adviser of Hamas said Hamas supports Obama and hopes he wins the election. Another example is on Sep. 7, 2008 Newsmax.com reported that Menashe Amir, Radio Israel’s Persian language service, reported that Iranian President Ahmadinejad has expressed “great pleasure” at the prospect of a Barack Obama victory in November and an Iranian religious leader said if Obama will enter the White House, then Islam will conquer the heart of the American nation.

On the Sep. 13, 2008, Meet the Press, Tom Brokaw could not camouflage his liberal bias and support for the new messiah. He attempted to challenge the Marxist Sen. Schumer on democrats raising the lack of experience issue with Sarah Palin when it re-focuses the issue on Obama and resulted in a drop in the polls. Brokaw allowed Schumer to avoid answering the question and let him ramble about liberal myths and bumper sticker slogans. Schumer repeated the liberal talking point that the election will be about Bush’s “bad” economy and change, but did not define what made it a bad economy or define the change Obama will bring. All Schumer could do was trash President Bush’s policies, without defining what policies.

But, Brokaw was more aggressive with Rudy Giuliani. He alleged the McCain ad about Obama supporting sex education for kindergarteners was a false republican attack ad. Giuliani corrected Brokaw with the fact that Obama voted for Illinois General Assembly Senate bill 0099, An Act Concerning Education, that specifically included sex education in kindergarten. Brokaw then supported Obama’s plan to raise capital gains taxes saying Warren Buffet agrees with Obama. Giuliani corrected Brokaw again with instruction on simple economics. An increase in capital gains taxes equals less government revenue every time it is tried. Brokaw defended Obama as a community organizer and repeated the ridiculous analogy traversing the liberal circuit that Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilot was a governor. Talk about Panic! Brokaw went on to raise the ethical issues claiming Palin is not cooperating with Alaska trooper-gate. Giuliani once again corrected Brokaw and explained the investigation is not objective or unbiased and is in fact a political witch-hunt by Obama supporters that have already announced the outcome. No wonder 69% of Americans think the media is liberally biased.

As the moronic liberal media continues to lie in order to defend B. Hussein Obama and distort his resume, the new messiah just makes speeches and offers “Change”. Not the first Marxist to use that ploy. “I will be for change and I”ll bring you change” Fidel Castro

What’s Right About Barry?

He is named after his Kenyan father, Barak, but his family and friends know him as Barry. Son of a Kenya, Africa, economist and a Kansas, U.S. American, anthropologist, Barry was born on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, our 50th state. As a youngster he briefly lived in Jakarta with his mother and was schooled with Catholics and Muslims, later to be sent back to Oahu to live with his maternal grandparents. At a young age he had experienced global societies; being bi-racial Barry fully understands cultural diversity. Both factors are needed for governing today’s America if we wish to continue to be a world power in the global struggle for economic top dog.

EDUCATION IS TOP PRIORITY with U.S. high school dropout rates in crisis (a promise Bush would change during his first term as president) we need to look at successful schools like.

Barry’s high school alma mater is Punahou High School one of the oldest high schools established in the nation. Punahou opened in 1841 and has a spectrum of renowned alumni ranging from Pulitzer winners, award winning medical researchers, professional champion athletes to governmental leaders including Robert Silberman, George W. Bush’s Assistant Secretary of the Army. Barry graduated from two highly respected universities: Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. Apparently Barry’s colleagues reported his capability of ending minor disputes and produced 8 volumes contested by liberals and conservatives alike. The Review under his tenure expanded the call for empowering women, African-Americans and the elderly to sue for discrimination. He taught Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago from 1992 – 2004. http://www.punahou+high+school.org. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11257.html (Harvard Review).

NATIONAL HEALTH ISSUES: 2007 article in Wall Street Journal (Rogers, 5/3/07), reported Bush had lost some credibility when he did not increase funding for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). It became a big health care policy debate. At the time Democrats wanted to increase funding up to $50 billion over the next five years. How does Barry stand? According to a New York Times report (Toner, 5/30/07) Barry proposed an over haul that combined the current employer-based system with a new government program where employees who could not obtain coverage through work, Medicaid or SCHIP. The plan would require employers to offer coverage or pay into a government fund, though small businesses would be exempt. http://covertheuninsured.org/news/index.php

ON FOREIGN POLICY: In a recent interview with Bill O’Reilly (9/05/2008), Bill O wrote about Barry, “The Barak Obama I witnessed is self-confident, determined and driven. Obama has convinced me that he is tough but cautious. He rose quickly because he vehemently opposed the Iraq war. But now I see a man who understands the victory that has taken place in Iraq. I don’t believe he wants to screw that up.” http://www.wwwbilloreilly.com/column. In addition to Bill O’Reilly’s commentary, Barry strategically chose Senator Joe Biden (D-Delaware) as his vice president running mate for his strong background in foreign policy. Biden is currently chairman for the Foreign Relations Committee.

PUBLIC SERVICE: Barry worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney prior to serving in the Illinois Senate. Barry had been ridiculed by political conservatives for having done so. However, in a recent AP article (Loven, Pickler, 9/12/08) McCain commented that he respected Obama’s decision after law school to forgo a lucrative career path and become a community organizer in downtrodden Chicago. “I respect people who serve their community,” McCain said, “and Senator Obama’s record is outstanding.”  McCain went on further to say he would have asked Americans to do the same after the 9/11 attacks. McCainObamaDiscussViewsOnPublicService/

AS A SENATOR: Barry helped to promote greater accountability with federal funds; legislated to prevent nuclear terrorism and provide better care for returning military personnel.

ENERGY INDEPENDENCE: NEW ENERGY FOR AMERICA PLAN Barry’s states it is a threat to our national security to be oil dependent and our country cannot afford politics as usual. He has a precise and feasible plan for energy independency. http://www.barackobama.com/pdffactsheet_energy_speech080308.pdf Thus far, McCain does not have a feasible energy plan in place other than for more oil drilling. At your keyboard, type in “McCain & Energy” in your search engine and one will find many news articles, but no strategy that articulates McCain’s precise intentions of an energy plan for America.

RELIGIOUS VIEWS ARE ABOUT INCLUSIVITY not an exclusive club His Protestant values are grounded in the United Church of Christ and as a practicing member of the UCC he is ecumenical (from the Greek word “to be able to be in communication with the world”). More importantly, Barry understands his faith is ethically PRO-ACTIVE as a Christian (not passive). And as a UCC Christian during times of crisis he will call for the most capable leaders regardless of political & religious division. Sarah Palin promotes herself as an evangelical Christian which is an exclusive faith community, i.e., if you don’t see it our way then don’t come to our church, you are not welcome.

Sarah Palin: A Good Choice?

McCain’s campaign stole Obama’s Thunder last Friday morning when announcing early morning that a complete unknown female governor had been picked as a Veep for the Republican ticket. What was supposed to be the day when every media outlet was to dissect “ZE Speech” by the MLT wannabee new Messiah, became the day for “Sarah who?”

I thought that it was funny! Suddenly the convention of the Democrats was old news, and so was Obama’s performance in front of 84,000 people. Too bad.

I also predicted that she would make the news and magazine covers, kick the Obama couple out of the flood lights, and she did.

Finally, I explained why it was a grandiose idea unless she had skeletons in her closet.

I was right (am I not always right?) so right!

The idea is grandiose because:

  • She is younger than Obama
  • She is “newer” than Obama
  • She is as cute as Michelle

Obama chose an old “Washingtonite” for VP, one of the people he criticizes for the problems, and McCain chose an unknown successful “Maverick”.

McCain chose a woman, a mom, when Obama sent Billary back home, humiliated.

McCain chose a woman and the Obama campaign has to be really careful on how she is going to be treated (not to alienate voting women)

McCain chose a conservative mom

McCain chose a governor that stood for her state against oil companies and had them pay billions in taxes (Alaska is flooded with cash while most states are in the red)

McCain chose somebody who fought corruption in both parties, old politics and self serving “earmarks”

If the ticket wins, she will be the next Republican candidate to face Obama and Billary in 2012 but with four years experience as a VP

The skeletons are popping up thx to our tabloidic media and audience:

“Trooper gate”: did she or not directly pressure her administration in order to get her brother in law fired?

Pregnant 17yo daughter: suddenly it is an issue (not political yet and thx Obama for wanting to keep kids out of the way) obviously the poor 17yo won’t have the free pass other celebrities “a la Spears familly” get!

Husbands double decade old DUI.

Anything else? McCain campaign says it is all there is and they expected it! We shall see.

So what do you think? Good choice or desperate political maneuvers?

Also, what about the Democrats and democracy?

Nobody from any right wing fringe of the conservative/republican aisle have tried to derail the convention of the Democrats, attacked delegates and burnt and loot properties. You know: the gun and bible totting moron Obama dislikes!

But the left and its Democratic values was again shown in action at the opening of the RNC like usual protesters, slogans, public disruptions, attacks on citizens and properties, disruption of a legit political process, etc, et. It just reminded me that it is how it has always started with the world dictatorships of the left: intolerant brown shirts storm troopers marching in the streets and imposing their Democratic views via violence and intimidation, the first steps to re=education or concentration camps! You guys must be so proud of your activists! Just keep it up and you will scare the American people away from your “tolerance”.

Another Liberal Scam

“For the bureaucrat, the world is a mere object to be manipulated by him” Karl Marx

Almost 70% of Americans now believe gas prices are a bigger problem than global warming. So, President Bush recently lifted the executive ban on offshore drilling. Republicans support domestic drilling while continuing to explore and improve alternative energy technology. [Read more…]

Voting for Race Instead of Ideas

There is a question going around in the news regarding a possible deep laying racism in white people. Basically, the media are asking themselves if white America is ready to elect a black president in 2008 and if many who are claiming support for Obama are actually unconsciously kidding themselves and will eventually cast a “white” vote when ballot time will come.

The question is fair because indeed, racism and prejudice affect the way some people vote. Take a look at the African American community to illustrate my propos: it seems like as of today, about 90% of the African American voters polled will vote for Obama. Just remember the democratic primaries and it is the percentage that the black candidate has already obtained in many states.  [Read more…]
